Realize that you are sinful and realize that Christ died for your sins on the cross. "As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one."(Romans 3:10) "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)
Repent of your sin and turn from your sin to Christ. "Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord." (Acts 3:19) "I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus." (Acts 20:21) NIV
Receive Christ as your personal Savior. "But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
If you desire to do these things, then you can receive Jesus Christ into your life by faith right now. The following prayer might help you express your thoughts to the Lord:
“Lord Jesus, I admit my sinfulness and thank You for dying for me on the cross. I ask You to forgive me of my sins. I now place my faith in You as my Lord and Savior. Come into my life and change me to be what You desire.”If you have placed your faith in Christ and received Him as your Savior then you are now a child of God. Colossians 1:13 indicates that you have now been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the kingdom of God's dear Son.
Since that is true, it is important for you to RECOGNIZE Christ's right to rule your life through His Word. Read and study the Bible regularly. If we can help you in any way, please call one of the pastors at the office, (406) 586-9782.
